Whereas other celebs are like “oh suffering people - send $50 000 from my bank account” it’s less meaningful that way. Writing a song shows that he really cares deep down in his heart and not just doing it because you feel obligated too or else tabloids will say you’re a bad person.
And yes I know Justin Bieber has that song called Pray. Still I bet he got the idea from We Are The World.
